So... to show you how CRAZY we are about our customers, we put together a few real life examples of how DormSmart's Customer Service Team rolls every day:

Helping mom find that perfect dorm trunk for her student… One parent had been looking long and hard for the perfect trunk for her youngest son to use at camp then take to college the following year, a trunk built to last a lifetime of memories. Apparently, their family had a trunk that was passed down through the generations that her eldest son laid claimed to when he departed for college so mom was tasked with finding a comparable trunk for her youngest son. With camp being only two weeks away, Team DormSmart worked with the manufacturer to get the custom trunk to the customer over a holiday weekend with no additional shipping costs and several days to spare… plenty of time to pack for camp!

Helping future dorm dwellers solve their storage needs… A mother, expecting twins, wanted to order some collapsible storage bins from DormSmart.com but our manufacturer was out of stock at the time. Knowing these twins would grow up and one day leave for college, Team DormSmart thought it was the perfect opportunity to brand with these future dorm dwellers early! So with the impending due date drawing near, our crazy team literally pounded the pavement in search of those bins … purchased them and shipped them to the customer. No money was made from the order but hopefully Team DormSmart gained a few lifelong customers, future dorm dwellers!

Helping college bound freshman easily locate their dorm supplies... A Canadian student preparing to attend Duke University ordered their dorm supplies for delivery direct to Duke’s campus. Fortunately for this college student, Team DormSmart takes the time to confirm campus shipping policies with the schools… apparently the university had changed their policy for campus deliveries that semester which would have left this future dorm dweller searching high and low for their dorm supplies when they arrived on campus!

Helping customers pull off the perfect fundraiser… One customer was hosting a fundraiser that featured the royal wedding. She needed several Jaxx Metro Sacs for additional seating for the college students and teens that planned to participate and had little time to spare. On the eve before the fundraiser, the Jaxx Metro Sacs went missing. Team DormSmart sprang into action, working past midnight to help the customer locate the Jaxx Metro Sacs delivered to an out building on the customer's estate the previous day.

Helping college students and their families save money on dorm supplies… Did you know that Team DormSmart even takes the time to review orders to make sure our customers receive the best possible delivered price for their dorm supplies? For example, one customer ordered a college trunk then added a wordlock as a separate item. Team DormSmart took the initiative to combine the order to save the customer money, then notified the customer and issued them a $13 refund… passing the cost savings to the customer.
